Volunteers

What it means to be a Volunteer for JAF.

Signing up to be a volunteer means that you believe in JAF’s vision of working hard and giving back to the community; specifically, to the Greater Louisville Area.

As a volunteer, you may be contacted to work an event, such as the annual Jo Adell Turkey Drive, or your time may be needed to support a new project idea that JAF is funding. If contacted to volunteer for an event, additional information will be provided including the attire needed to volunteer for the event. For example, if contacted to volunteer at the Jo Adell Academic Challenge Banquet, wearing black pants and a white collared shirt would be expected.

Again, volunteers are key to the success of JAF, but giving of one’s time to help others is more important.
