JAF & LMPD Foundation Provide 1000 Louisville-Area Families a Thanksgiving Dinner

A year of greater challenges yields an event with even greater success.

Since 2017, the Jo Adell Foundation has partnered with the LMPD Foundation, Kroger, and JCPS to feed hundreds of families throughout the Greater Louisville Area. 

COVID-19 brought unprecedented challenges to this year’s event, but also yielded unprecedented results. In 2019, the JAF Thanksgiving Dinners Event was able to provide 500 Thanksgiving dinners. This year, in spite of being in the middle of a pandemic, 1000 frozen turkeys and pre-packaged side items were delivered to provide a special Thanksgiving for Louisville families in need.
